I see a real chance of beating the raiders . We have won all our away games this year . We have won 5 out of the last 6 games we played in Canberra

The Raiders are an excellent side and will put 12+ on us tonight. If we lope onto the field in the mentally poorly prepared state we took the field in the first 20 against storm, they will put more on us. Realistic.
The realistic supporters thought the Thurston led Cowboys team were going to put 50 on us at Townsville and the Roosters who were competition leaders at the time were going to annihilate us
Lets not forget what these realistic supporters thought of our chances of humiliating the dogs

The only real gripe I have with Twenty is his misguided faith in Poo and Plod. Neither have made an impact over the past two seasons, so why can't he see this? Why he doesn't explore new talent mystifies and irritates me.
On the plus side, we are showing much more in attack this season - and occasionally showing some true grit in defence. We can beat any team when it's our day. So far, unfortunately, we are rocks or diamonds.

There's a major difference between being negative and realistic. Never in my days of watching Manly have I seen us leak points so meekly as we did against storm. We are mentally fragile it seems to me and that responsibility falls on the coach. Watch his press conferences. Blankly looking off into the distance. Vague answers. Contrast that with Ricky Stuart - passionate and 100% backs his players. I reckon a spray from Ricky would be memorable. This is the crux of it. Trent? Oh boys the BBQ is at my place on Sunday, bring a salad. So, it's very realistic to expect we get a towelling down there tonight. I can't see it any other way.

What I have never understood is, even if you are correct, why the overwhelming need to share it .... wouldn't it be doing the human race a favour if you just sat alone and dejected on the toilet floor and sobbed quietly.

Would not be suprised if Manly lead at HT tonight....
Thing is over 80 minutes have only seen 3 games Manly fight the entire game and the Raiders - IMO - have the deadliest attack in the NRL.
IF they clock off for 20 minutes as in other games, unfortunately will let in 30 points in a blink.
Have proven resilient in the 3 wins for the 80 - just who turns up tonight - Jeckyl or Hyde....

Just to make sure the Tongan Toad doesnt have a field day. Hope Kelly really aims up and gets in his face tonight. Green will be under the microscope tonight. He'd want to get those last tackle options spot on. If Green starts poorly, I hope Baz gives Hastings a crack at 6

He won't though he doesn't have the confidence as a big coach to drop underperformed players eg. Myles, Brown, Green ect.
Cleary has lost big names in his side but he also has $$$ to spend and set up his own roster.
He lost three good players not great players.He'll remain at the tigers.
