No doubt, there’s boxers & other sports people who praise their god. But, in regards to on field displays, one of the first that I saw was Tim Tebow when he was with the Denver Broncos, praying to the footy gods.
They are brought up in it , so continue for their families but in reality their “ away from church “ antics suggest that the whole “ god thing “ is just for show.
I find it quite hypocritical to be honest.
I don’t even believe in the sky fairy but I at least abide by the old 10 commandments which if we all did would make the world a better place.
