I always liked Luke Lewis and I thought his treatment by the Panthers was terrible.
This news made me think that maybe the thyroid cancer may have been making him tired, therefore affecting his training for some months (unbeknownst to everyone) and that this may have been perceived as laziness by the Panthers - which led to losing the captaincy and ultimately led to him leaving the club.
If so, that is a pretty sad story and some officials at the Panthers would be feeling pretty ordinary today.
