1 SEIBS CAN COACH
he has made the hard calls all season
1- drops Burbo for Lawton and has done so with Lehi, Koula,Tommy T Sipley and Lodge,Seibs has a team first mentality and makes the hard calls, you earn your spot and keep it. He only cares about putting the best team out there. People can bag him all you like but he's not missing tackles or dropping balls, that's on the players but I do like that everyone in the squad is part of the team.
2 TOM IS A SUPERSTAR AND ALL MANLY
he's effort on effort are simply ridiculous, yeah he's a star and we will miss him but I feel we have the backup in Koula and Lehi to cover.. hope his back first week of finals though.
3 OUR MIDDLES ARE AS GOOD AS ANY
On their day they can and will match it or beat the best, simply an awesome power keg.
And that includes Aloai and Sipley
Lodge is a monster
Brown Paseka and Hamouli Beasts...
4 DCE and BROOKS IS A MASTER STROKE
Great foresight by Seibs and Mestrov to get Brooks to Manly and letting go of Shue was also a great decision.
5 DCE IS IN THE TOP 5 PLAYERS IN THE GAME
Simply a worthy captain and footy brain, he has won us so many games that many forget and try "rubbishing" him when he stuffs up.. he's human and bad game do happen.. but he's a better player than many realise.
6 GARRICK MAY HAVE FINAL FOUND THE TECHNIQUE AND CONFIDENCE HE NEEDS TO BECOME A GOOD CENTRE
he started slow arm grabbing and crabbing sideways but had traffic coming his way all night and started to look like he belongs at center
7 LEHI IS OUR NEXT SUPERSTAR
19 and plays like a seasoned veteran, so much "time" he makes the difficult look simple..enough said
8 BROWN IS THE BUY OF THE YEAR..FOR ANY CLUB
Can't say enough just how massive this guy has been for us, in Attack, in Defence and Mentally for the whole team.. he's attitude not only rubs off on the players but also the fans, I feel like something is always going to happen when he on!
9 THE OFFICIALS HAVE TOO MUCH CONTROL OF A GAMES OUTCOME
Again lots of dubious calls.. that cost us points and field position.. Sexton clear knock on from the drop out and they go on to score, blatant forward pass from Preston and they go on to score, the last 25 minutes the ref was basically only reffing 1 side.
10 IF THE BOYS GET THEIR HEAD ON AND COMMIT TO THE GAME PLAN WE CAN WIN THE COMP
Big ask BUT it's all about attitude and commitment.. if it's on we have as good a chance as any to win the comp.
