disgusting considering how successful we are, FMD i live out south west and been member all my life I cant get to everygame , last 3 years or so , lucky to get to 3 games a year , i still buy my membership regardless. Our club should be pissing in 25K every year without blinking.. we make the finals , and all of them come out of the woodwork

You are exactly right. The inland clubs don't have to compete with the lure of the surf.
 
Roosters should be a lot higher especially where they have finished for the last 5 years. Their real figure would be below us if you take out the free crowd boost for ANZAC day games.
 
26k for Eels...FMD they done nothing for years and years and still get that kind of support.
 
We always struggle for membership. Not sure why a club that has so many groups and followers on Facebook and in grand finals don't buy the membership.

Frankly, I struggle to understand this when membership is extremely cheap at the minimum level. I've bought the 3 game pass for years because I know I can't get to every game but I'll bump it up to 5 next year.

I'm not about to criticise people because I know there are some for whom "disposable income" is just a pipe dream but surely we can do better than this.

In the AFL, there are no fans. You're a member or not. Not being a member isn't an option down there in Mexico.
 
You’re having a go at the fans about this? On Silvertails where, I’d suggest, everyone who can afford to become a member is?
Talk to the club Bozo - it’s their job to make themselves appealing enough for people to want to become members
I think Lyall was doing a great job, not so sure about the current bloke.
I have to say, at the moment I’m finding they’re falling a bit short in the communications area.
We heard nothing from them for a very long time until they decided to beg for a pledge. Of course (I’d imagine) most are on board but why not ongoing communication up to that point.
Next, people were allowed in on Thursday and I’d imagine the first in were the longest standing gold members. Again I’m sure that all of us members would be on board with this but again, nothing from the club about how they’re approaching this.
I dread to think how they’ll get it sorted when 5,000 people will be allowed in.
If you want people to want to be members, even without footy, you’ve got to provide them with a sense that they’re part of something.
And don’t give me skeleton staff crap. I’m sure jobkeeper could provide enough of a wage for someone to send a mass email once a week.
Lay off the fans Bozo and look at the club.

Or the fact that they have a pet, baby and toddler membership? Where we only have a baby and pet one?

I am guessing but they would not have that many more members than us but would have a far greater share of wallet i.e. In my family my son and I are the only members as my daughter is a toddler...there is one more membership. Also I would most likely but the supporter package in addition to my mine (I am guessing they either bundle it or offer it for a reduced price) which would no doubt count as another member.

I have been banging on for years about creating something similar for us...

If not it should be I would pay around $1.70 for a Parra membership and still think I was being ripped off.

Exactly the point.

Even though I bang on about it if the club saw this as a valuable revenue stream you would think they would invest in it accordingly.
