I think he could make a good hooker as technically he's got a good pass and can tackle, my only concern playing hooker is what happens to those skills under the additional duress of playing in that position. He might succeed brilliantly at it, but it would be very rare for someone to change positions like that and turn into an 80 minute dummy half specialist.

I think Liam is a decent backup, but i do feel he is a little overated around here.

For mine, not a starter, and not someone who should become a fulltime starter for us!

He does some good things but if his attack passing was better we would have run away with the game yesterday.

This. Played too close to the line at times, and went the long cut-outs instead of through the hands during some of the raids.

Should have had those key decision making skills in place by now, so I don't expect too much more out of what we're getting, to be honest.

Ballin cannot be replaced, if manly think Liam foran is a replacement then they have rocks in their heads, Liam's build is way to big, and he's very 1 dimensional, great player with game time could be very solid, I just think that if matty b goes we should be searching for someone else, if we lose Ballin it will be a huge loss !

We would all like to think Liam will be a permanent fixture in 1st grade but truely....currently he is a half potentially slated for hooker. We wont know how this will pan out till the recruitment finishes and we are in a new season.

He has the heart to be a nine but unsure about the required dummy half consistency.

Liam has been around longer then Keiran , but Keiran has played more 1st grade games & cemented a 1st grade spot , something Liam has never been able to do in his career.And saying he is better than Mona`s is just kidding yourself
