How good was it to see Coates run into touch.

Need more of that effort from the GHOAT

The look of disbelief from Coates was priceless as well.
He may look like the runt of the Hoppa litter, but plenty of opposition players
are finding out quick smart that he very well could be the GHOAT.

Tom is playing fullback in attack and roaming. Lehi is our fullback in defence and kick returns. It saves turbo a lot of miles in the legs. I’d probably prefer that we have Lehi at the back as it’s improving our last line of d dramatically as opposed to Tom who most times wouldn’t bother chasing. Our side hasn’t really had a problem with scoring points it’s our ****ty defensive lapses and brain fades that cost us. We have looked way more solid defensively since the change.

Although it is hard to comprehend, we are actually 3rd best in defence (or at least points conceded) and 7th best in attack (or points scored). Doesn't fit my perception either...

Coates looked a bit happier when he easily caught the bomb away from Lehi at the end of the game.
Don't think he would have done that against Tommy.

Not entirely digging Lehi at FB. However, it is working and Tommy looks free in his movements but not entirely happy. That could be the DCE saga or something else though. Probably just my imagination…I know Lehi, if he sticks around, will be the long term FB. i just think if we want to beat teams come finals time we need Turbo out the back. Not sure where that would leave Lehi though. To further complicate matters, I reckon we need Talau in the side too…

I am more than happy to be proven wrong if we keep winning….

Yeah, but we could do that by putting TT2 in the centres Loppa in Saabs spot and returning Tom to fullback also…
