His lines have been great this year tbh. Would love him to get more early ball but keep an eye on him bursting through the gaps in the next few weeks, paid off today & almost got a try last week from it as well

Koula was excellent today. He is all effort and carries are strong. Nice to see him in space today.

Just looking on the stats for the season so far (admittedly only 4 games in) and Lehi is top 5 in the league for post contact metres. Amazing for someone so slightly built

He has an amazing ability! It's not just brawn,that's for sure. How great to have this talent at Manly.

It’s tough times right now but when we give this guy a halfback that wants to be at the club & a top tier prop/lock I still think the future is bright.

I also liked the suggestions of him as a potential 5/8 in a few years, definitely has the the ball skills & running game. Between him & Large those 2 positions should hopefully be locked up by guns for 10+ years. Do we see him as a long term fullback or 5/8?

One of those rare players who will find a way to impact a game no matter where you put him in the backline, but he's a fullback all the way, I reckon. Longterm, we have to plan around him as our fullback.

Agree with what you have written, though the team desperately need Simpkin or another nine playing nine, Tevega is such an easy read for the opposition, he doesn’t attract defenders around him or the ruck and this allows the opposition to slide earlier to the edges, looked better when Simpkin came on in this area.

Hoppa he reads the game so well from fullback and defensively he is very good, his attack is growing there, for the short term he is a fullback, long term his brothers Will and Albert both lost running speed as they aged and when his body fills out centre may well be his position time will tell.

Of course but watching a players highlights is always going to be easy on the eye.I could cobble together highlights of Manly’s efforts last night and you’d think they’re playing well
