But keep in mind Hoppa senior will be involved in getting a deal done at the highest or close to, when locking in the future of young Lehi....and there will be any number of teams knocking on the door.
My tip would be to start offering more "Life after football" opportunities to our young guns, when this situation arrives.
Other clubs seem to do this better than us and it can 100% make a difference to these vital decisions.
Winning helps also and in 2024, has definitely looked a happier camp for all the players in general.

Have any of the brothers other than Will carried out their mission? Perhaps he will look at Wills career post mission and decide to either not do it or postpone it until his career is done, Will was never the same player that left us in 2011

Considering HIA and the modern game you can easily make the case for carrying a back on the bench - in an ideal world it would be a burbo style player who can move into other areas but I am not seeing that

Perhaps the most complete Manly junior (on arrival in first grade) since the great (and greatly underestimated for the first half of his career) Alan Thompson over 50 years ago.

And there have been some great ‘instant first graders’ out of the juniors since then, like P. Blake, G. Toovey and S. Menzies.
