When he was playing he was the toughest little bugger you could find. At just over 5 foot tall and a little over 10 stone he regularly put his body on the line mixing it with much bigger fellas. Let's hope he can fight this with the same determination.

Met him on our WCC tour(S) , nice fella , very sad as I don’t think there’s a cure.

And yes he was small ( I’m no giant and I towered over him).

It's becoming more obvious both rugby codes and nfl have an issue with head injuries. How there addressed will be interesting.

Rob Burrow was the Leeds version of Tooves. The smallest player with the biggest heart.

Heartbreaking for himself and his family. Unfortunately there isn't a cure for this, but I'd imagine he won't take it as a death sentence. He'll fight it as best he can.

There was a half hour special over here on the BBC about Rob a couple of nights ago. To see how quickly this has taken a hold on him is absolutely heartbreaking and really hard to watch. Considering this bloke was playing the toughest sport of all just a few years ago and seeing what he's like now is hard to comprehend. Keep fighting fella

He was the player Choc raced out of the line and (legitimately) flattened.
