Weekes to debut at Hooker
Weekes is a gun. Can’t wait to see him in the top grade tomorrow. Major test for him defending in the middle but he is big enough to hold his own.
He might provide some spark out of hooker as well

It's testament to how far Croker has come that we'll miss him so much. I hadn't spent much time worrying about who his backup might be, but I guess the plan was for Segeyaro to slot in when we faced a situation like this. Otherwise, our backup at hooker is very, very thin. I think we can split the dummy half role in attack between a few players - Foz, Cherry, Walker and possibly even Weekes. But plugging up the middle in defence will be a much harder task.
Yeah, hes not playing for Blacktown. Poor bastard. He’s been waiting for this opportunity all season.

It is a bit of an unusual selection but Weekes is very versatile. I see a bit of Nicho Hynes about him. Will be watching with interest.

Being realistic, who debuts at 9 for 80 mins or even starts in the run on side at 9 first minutes in the NRL (especially when there not a regular 9). As mentioned above, makes sense that Walks starts at 9 and K plays 14, they can interchange or share the role, how we use our bench will be crucial.
