Newcastle’s attack is terrible at 13.3 ppg but their defence (19 ppg) is second only to Canterbury. Manly is 24.3 / 20.5 ppg.
I would say that the Knights haven’t even had that tough a draw to this point. That might explain the points conceded stat.

Manly needs to tackle like the Cowboys and Broncos matches and the points will come.

Not too concerned with Sipps, will be fresh and sure that he will have a decent dig
Maybe would have preferred to have kept Jass at 13 , noticed that he has [ or has been carrying ] a minor injury so not sure if that was a consideration but should have made not that much difference
Knights probably still have some individual attacking ability and certainly with the Ponga factor so as long as Manly can contain that , hopefully will have some worthwhile attack to rack up a winning scoreline
Will make a very important difference over the next few weeks of course to go on a winning run starting from tonight

Surely we can’t lose this one.
We thought the same about the Parra game!! We are not a good enough, complete enough, consistent enough football team to expect a guaranteed win. All it will take is for Pongia to be on fire or for us to have a let down after the Broncos game for this to be a tight struggle.

The Knights have been criticized all week. Same happened to Manly after the Parra game "Manly's worst pack of forwards ever" and we saw the response.

You’ve convinced me. Can I change my post to “Surely we can’t win this one”?

This is the Unlosable game for us feathered friend
and the Impossible dream of winning this game for the Knights

It would be better for the Knights to forfeit this game than being flogged by Manly

They cant win away , They cant win at Home , They have players out of form, They have players out injured , and the They have an Incompetent and underperforming Coach who has no answers on how to stop the bleeding from all his teams bloodbath loses .

Prediction Manly 84 Knights 4

No way that scoreline will happen. No way knights will get 4.

You are right feathered friend they wont Get 4 . They will just Get Killed .

We have too many Weapons and they have too many Weakies

The players association should summons Peter V'landys to stop the fight
Not a good look for the game and for Mothers and Children watching Sea eagles Slaughtering the Submissive and Helpless Knights on free to air TV

Prediction score update ....
Manly 84 Knights Nil

Interesting ...

No game is 'unloseable' (not a word? Don't care) - bit like elections. Every season throws up at least a couple of absolutely shock results. Not sitting on the fence here - Manly will win, but if any of the players have that in the back of their minds that this is a 'gimme' then egg on face will surely follow.

Continue to be impressed with Lehi, both on wing and out back. Lock this kid into a ten year contract now! Also kudos for Burbo - last month or so he's been consistently one of the team's best. Toff does worry me defensively - I hope Jake lives in his pocket to cover his slowness off the mark in defence. Last shout out is for Lachlan Croker. It was always going to take three or so games to get back to form. His kicking game is a huge plus: Brooks on one side, DCE the other and Croker from the middle.

Any complacency - '97 GF anyone?

The NRL has been deliberately made into a snakes and ladders competition. Being a conventional rugby league team means nothing, even dominating for 70 mins and leading by 20 points. A junk team will every now and then win when the snakes combine to neuter the better side.

IF the unthinkable happens and we lose the "unlosable" then I will be steering clear of the forum for months...........
Stick around for our Winning celebrations feathered friend
We can not lose this one even if we tried
Because the Knights will try harder to lose this game
As they have been all year

No Turbo no problem is about to become Manly's new slogan.
Lehi is just about the most exciting young talent in the game.
Such a significant win last week. Sure, Broncos have been panned for their performance but they still had plenty of stars and the Brocos 'aura' so to put 30 on them without Tom or Jake should have given the Manly side a real confidence boost.
