From the 'NRL Casualty Ward - All the Latest Injury News, Updates & Returns Details' web page, Here is the Latest NRL Injured or Unavailable Update:

* * * (Updated: Saturday, 27 May 2023) * * *

Manly forward Jake Trbojevic has been all but ruled out of this year's Ampol State of Origin series after suffering a torn calf in his side's Round 12 win against the Raiders on Sunday.

The club confirmed on Tuesday the 2022 Blues representative is expected to be out for up to six weeks which will likely see the Sea Eagles forward miss the entire Origin campaign.

In more injury news ahead of Round 13, Sea Eagles utility Ben Trbojevic is expected to be out for an extended period after scans confirmed a hamstring tear last week.

Manly Sea Eagles
  • Cooper Johns (Ankle, Round 13)
  • Zac Fulton (Elbow, Round 14)
  • Josh Aloiai (Shoulder, Round 15)
  • Aaron Woods (Thumb, Round 17)
  • Kelma Tuilagi (Facial Fracture, Round 18)
  • Jake Trbojevic (Calf, Round 19)
  • Ben Trbojevic (Hamstring, Indefinite)

Also, from the NRL Casualty Ward, Manly hub page, there are slight variations to the information regarding the unavailable or injured players and their return periods:

  • Josh Aloiai (Shoulder, Round 15)
  • Aaron Woods (Thumb, Round 17)
  • Kelma Tuilagi (Facial Fracture, Round 18)
  • Jake Trbojevic (Calf, Round 19)
  • Ben Trbojevic (Hamstring, Indefinite)

Need to wait to see who’s in and who’s playing SOO, for both sides.
Agreed. It was hard to try and scrape together a team list with who we have out injured and who may be out with SOO duties.

And although Schuster is very inexperienced he is also of Captain Material with his footy smarts and good composure.
