KNIGHTS ALLEGATIONS

The Newcastle Knights will launch an investigation today into an alcohol fuelled incident in a university dormitory.

Officials at Charles Sturt University made a formal complaint to the club after a Knights player allegedly burst into a dorm room, straddled a female and touched her inappropriately.

The players involved could face fines or a suspension, although Knights officials have been told the matter was relatively minor.

Newcastle players had been in the NSW central western town for a pre-season match on Saturday night.

Doesn't surprise me - I went to Canberra Uni and the Raiders used to rock up to every bar night and sleaze onto the uni chicks. They looked like total tools and struggled in a big way if the conversation had to go much past footy and themselves. I'm not saying all footy players are like this BUT back then Canberra had plenty of them !
They were extremely fortunate that a video doing the rounds involving a couple of their players and a very intoxicated uni chick in her dorm room didn't get out. One of the other girls in the dorm filmed it fearing there wasn't too much consent involved....

It's a shame that didn't come out. Anything that hurts the Raiders is good in my estimation.
