Klemmer

It's frustrating to see Tom only back up his brother each week. The amount of offloads this team creates and the amount of times a forward holds the ball because there is no player in support is ridiculous. Whoever is in charge needs to be drilling this basic into the players. Hodko picked up the winning try from it last week
Ure spot on - and every game this year when we've actually looked like an entertaining skillful team is when we've wreaked havoc up the guts with blokes supporting the ball carier. But we only play that style every 4-5 games, so we only win like..every 4-5 games lol But thankfully some of our tactics are produced weekly.. like kicking into touch when we're attacking the opponents tryline... kill me now

I realise that Parramatta slaughter they were diabolical in defence....but on the flipside it was the only game where players got around the ball carrier running into lanes either side.
Apart from that, these offloads which are good, go to a player flat footed who takes off from a standing start....or worse still, to the ground as the support is not prepared or anticipating the pass so run back and end up caught where the ball was thrown.
This leads to the call of bad or silly offload, where I am thinking dumb support play....

He would be a boon for any club but I doubt we would be in the mix to sign him. I almost expect him to be at the Riff next year, would be a good fit. Great player.

Surely he'll go to the Sharks with his best bud Woods, after all that's why Woods went to the Dogs wasn't it? Plus a truck load of cash.
The Sharks have plenty left in their cap, Toddles told us so.

He is great mates with the Tbros.
But I trust their negotiating skills not.
But hopes up Klem would be a great signing.

NRL would be the laughing stock of Australian sport if Klemmer ended up at the Roosters.

If its werent already the laughing stock of Australian sport.

Why?

We know they have enough money for both Marty and SBW.

So if the sign Klemmer that might end the constant Marty rumours. Then NRL will allow SBW to join after 30 June as has already been discussed many times.

Would be questionable only if they signed all 3 imo.

I can't believe that it is even remotely possible that the NRL could allow the Roosters to fit him in. It is time for some transparency and sensible control by the NRL who are at present a bunch of bull ****ting spin doctors enslaved to the financial power brokers of the game. Each player must have a minimum contractual value to be taken into account into a side's salary cap that is determined by a valuing committee composing of members of the NRL Commission. There needs to be a formula that takes into account the years of service to a club and the players representative status. There needs to be set minimum and maximum contract values that should be published every year with a players value open for reassessment at the end of the term of an existing contract or at the time an existing contract is to be terminated and new contract entered. In addition if the contracted player receives third party agreements exceeding a cap set by the NRL then the players contract value for the salary cap should carry an added value over and above the default maximum amount so as to try and even the talent out. This current mob the do nothing other than try to talk this mess of a game at present and have no control and come up no new ideas what so ever. Idiots!.
