Klemmer could be a good inclusion in most teams at the right price. he would improve manly but on ST everyone is looking looking for a silverbullet to transform us into contenders. This can happen from time to time if your shopping at the top end of town. We are not

most success is built..We are constantly turning over players and hoping, but building our game while we wait for the moons to align seems beyond our thought process. We have appeared a very dumb footy team for some time

where manly is currently we need to start getting players that make us a better tean in 26 and build a style, a foundation and some resilience to our game to have a shot at success

Klemmer may possibly aid 26 but not 24 and his price is too high at 750, maybe 400

speed is an important component in the modern game, as always though the teams with speed between the ears are in the big games

even if we could add fisher harris and afb i still see us as a team that makes the finals but gets bundled out in straight sets . Tom is obviously the wildcard but that is about individual brilliance, not the team and manlys reliance on Tom shows that

Even though we struggle overall we have had large chunks of game time camped in opposition 20 and come up empty Way too often .Sideways attack , lack of composure and direction costs us big time ,

until we get the game built around kick chase, possession, patience how do we even know what missing ingredients are required to build the team. We have attack galore so if we play it out, we will be dangerous but our ability to get chased down in the last 20 minutes , rather than looking to win in the last 20 makes us as ineffectual as having a 50 yo martin bella in the front row with slammin sam

how does a front rower fix all of that. ?
and if manly fixed that our props would look better anyway

i want better players at manly but being a great team isnt about socialising and happy training days,

great teams beat great players.

what i want to see in 24 is resilience , a consistent kick chase, and not having the ball pinched as often. And holding a lead and not crumbling when the pressure ramps up

our current team has that ability but results say different. Fix that or recruit for that

Couldn't agree more.
We had flashes of improvement last season, including a pretty strong end to the year.
How we go this year will tell the tale of whether Seibold is indeed building something at Manly, or was it just another undulation in our entrenched up and down-ness.

I find Klemmer's 'tough guy' persona to be a bit of a laugh now that he is no longer dynamic. When he pushed Hastings away last year, it just looked like a schoolyard squabble from an insecure bully.

Hypothetical

Forget footy for a second, and just talk about effort areas, attitude, and white line fever style, and i like whats inside both hastings and klemmer and would love it at manly

if we could get a younger version of klem,or stick klem inside aioli,

and get hastings a personality transplant they would be handy assets

I wonder if DCE is keen for a Hastings reunion. lol

I fail to see how persuading Klemmer to immerse himself in a cold sauce consisting of an emulsion of garlic and olive oil will help.........
