Some great hard running from Marty and AFB today. It will be awesome once we balance this with support runners following up every play to take better advantage of those offload opportunities. This is where we are really missing Tommy T.

We have some serious, high quality props in Marty, AFB, Perrett, Lussick and Lawrence. Has the potential to be the most dominant, powerful pack in recent memory. Scary to think what this pack of forwards will look like when Bozo has finished moulding them. Whether you like Bozo the man or not, you have to sit back and marvel at the power he has added to our forwards in the last two seasons. Have a look at the pack Toovey had at his disposal, its like chalk and cheese:

Marty is wonderful.

Snapping the finger back in after a dislocation was a bit... "ahhhh" but it didn't seem to worry him that much.

I still think the biggest mistake that Kidwell made was starting Marty from the bench in the Anzac Test in preference to Russell Packer.

DCE may have got Fox's MoM award today and no disrespect to him because he was good, but for mine it was Kapow.

It might have a bit of bias but he would be a starting prop in any team. Outside of Fafita he is the best in the game atm

Marty is awesome, incredibly skilful and puts in a 110% each and every game. Definitely one of the best forwards in the world.

He is also a nice guy, very down to earth and unassuming.

Love 'Kapow' and love that he plays for the Mighty Manly Sea Eagles....!!

Kite was more about many years as a very good consistent player although that did not happen overnight, used to get called feet for hands in his first few seasons here if your remember.

Marty has a bit more of an all round game, another few years of this and he will surpass Kite in my mind and probably Spud as well for that matter.
