Harold Matt's and SG Ball Squads... Finally.

Would be interesting to see how they manage Walsh, Alexander and Large in the same squad. Large to fullback?
Wonder why Walsh didn’t get picked?

You can throw in Tyler Melrose (far right in back row)to that equation also, who was on a Train and Trial contract with NRL over pre-season. Definitely depth in the SG Ball halves.

Matthews Squad.
Jack Kalms. Local junior, played as a centre/5/8 in the past, now a fullback, must have impressed to get the nod and have Crotty move to centre.
Boston Byrne. Fullback/5/8 from Newcastle region.
Tahj Hamilton.Centre who joined from CC last year.
Oscar Crotty. Local junior moving from fullback to centre, very promising kid.
Max Elkins. Local junior and centre.
Lewis Jones. Centre/backrower who played for Knights in the Andrew Johns cup last year.
Tom Longland.Local junior played schoolboy reps for NSW last year and a rugby rep.Good player who can play centre and backrow.
Sonny Colella. Local junior and son of Anthony, winger and plays rep union.
Hunter Chan. Local junior and winger.
Kobe Morris. 5/8 and local junior, did well last year and promising player, tall and rangy type.
Manu Elliott. Local junior and 5/8, probably more depth at this point.
Taj Little. 5/8 from Hunter region, rugby background as well.
Callum Miskell. Halfback from Orange, played for Western Rams in the Andrew Johns cup, played well in the trial last week,no fear defender,kicker/goal kicker, good organiser.
Max Prykiel. Halfback and local junior.
Sonny Wilcock. Prop and local junior, solid player.
Cameron Makey. Prop/Lock from CC who played with side last year, forced his way into the starting line up last year.
Lukas Butler. Local and prop who impressed in the local jr comp last year.
Isaiah V-Fretton. Was reported as signed last year, prop from Western Sydney.Did not really shine from the bench in last week's trial and not named to play this week.
Ashton Large. Dummy half from Tigers, think everyone here has heard about him.
Zane Rainey. Dummy half who played with the Knights in the Andrew Johns cup last year.
Sita Oldfield. Local junior and captain of the side.Second rower who was originally a centre, keeps improving every year, looked good in the trial against bunnies.
Kai Brennan. Second rower who played prop last year Local junior and good tough kid.
Jayden Richards. Local junior and second rower, rugby rep as well.
Aiden Cameron. Local junior and rangy second rower, good player.
Kody Pickersgill. Local junior and second rower.
Beau McKee. Played lock as pointed out by member Smithy last week,(thought it was Billy Miller).Local junior who killed it in the trial in my opinion, big future and looks even better at 13 than edge, hard, tough kid with mongrel.
Billy Miller. Local junior and lock, very promising player and highly thought of rugby rep for Waratahs juniors.
Cooper Close. Lock forward from Newcastle region.

Ball Squad.
Reilly Caswell. Fullback, been here a few years now, stepping up to Ball this year.
Brendan Couzens. Centre from the CC,joined last year, got some chances late last year and impressed.
Benjamin O'Keefe. Centre from the CC,been with the side a couple of years, played in Matthews in 23 and played Ball,Sydney Shield and some Flegg last year, very good strong centre, surprised he is not starting, maybe injured.
Keoki Koraba. Centre from Brisbane Tigers, can score a try,but needs to keep improving defense.
Kolby Martin. Centre from Glenn Innes.
Kees Muller. Outside back from Emu Plains out west.
Ben Askew. Centre/winger picked up from Bears.
Samisoni Talakai. Centre/winger from the CC,played in the Laurie Daley cup for them.
Cooper Dean-Potaka. Winger/fullback from the CC,also played in the Laurie Daley cup for them last year.
Onitoni Large. Think everyone's heard of him,not sure if a 5/8 or centre at this point, obviously the club views him as a half.
Tamoko Berryman-Duff. Local boy who has been with the Bunnies the last couple of years, highly rated schoolboy player.Plays as a 7 or utility.
Max Davies. Local boy and a 5/8,personally think he has a lot to his game, plays on the right and has a good running game and a big boot, rangy athletic kid, probably have to bide his time as moving up from the Matthews side and quite a bit of talent above him this year.
Joey Walsh. Pretty well known by now, doubt he will see much time here, probably Flegg or Reggie's.
Beau Alexander. Again, known by most, plays more on the left, local junior and has done well to beat out Melrose who is on a T&T with the seniors.
Tyler Melrose. Halfback from Qld,highly rated in Central and NQ.
Campbell Munn.Prop originally from the country, been with the club a few years, went to school at St Paul's and played schoolboy rep footy with Laiafi last year, hard worker and has a good future.
Simone Laiafi. Prop,as most know, destructive with the ball, but needs to work harder without it,can go missing at times and in last week's trial got caught out with lazy inside defense and was seen walking back after kicks and breaks were made(all game, not after the score went South).
Freddie Benson-Sparks. Prop and local boy stepping up from the Matthews, big kid and gets involved, good player.
Fakavale Tonga. Prop originally from Bankstown, worked hard on his fitness, but still a huge kid, needs to keep working, gets caught out a little.
Will Leha. Prop from our Matthews side, originally from Western Sydney, decent player but seems to have plateaued.
Kayne Pua'Avase. Younger brother of DJ,prop or second rower, highly rated a year ago, hoping to regain some form here, comes down from Townsville juniors.
Zaidas Muagututia. Hooker and most have heard of him, looked very impressive in the last trial.
Hugo Hart. Qlder and from rugby, looked ok in the trial,T&T contract guy which says a lot for a kid from rugby.
Ezekiel Paulo. Second rower from Ipswich, played with their juniors last year.
Heath Turner. Second rower originally from Bears and rugby.Thought he looked good last year, very willing kid on both sides of ball.
Kaleb Serafin. Second rower, big unit from Western Sydney, played with our Matthews last year, looked a little cumbersome last year.
Matthew Crossingham. Second rower who trialled with the Roosters Ball side and did not make the squad, probably a depth guy.
