Sea Eagles slay Dragons
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have defeated St George Dragons 12-0 in the SG Ball Cup at New Era Stadium.
With wet weather making conditions tough for both teams, it was the Sea Eagles who finally broke the deadlock in the 24th minute through centre Josh Feledy.
Off the back of a scrum, 2021 Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year Latu Fainu put through a perfectly weighted kick and Feledy showed plenty of pace in the heavy grass to score.
Tensions boiled over from two separate incidents that saw both sides lose two players each to the sin bin in the space of two minutes.
From there, Manly found themselves attacking the Dragons goal line and Kobe Fulton, grandson of Rugby League Immortal Bob Fulton, burrowed his way over the line.
