Hopefully we see Kylan Mafoa back into the NSW Cup team next week. Definitely too good to be playing Sydney Shield but I’m assuming they just wanted to give him a few weeks to get his match fitness back after returning from a pretty long-term injury I believe.

Good to see young Hugo Hart on the bench for reserve grade.
Progressed well this year after a good cameo in the trial at start of year, Ball to Flegg and now Reggie's,one for the near future.
Lot of mongrel in him.

On a positive note, good to see 5 of Manly’s juniors selected in the NSW CIS 18s boys squad. Full squad is listed here. Maybe this is why we had no one selected in the 18s city v country squads? Not too sure how it all works. Maybe school footy takes priority here.

I'm a little unfamiliar with a number of the players, which ones are the Manly players? Would be interesting to see if they came from SG Ball or Matt's, because SG Ball didn't have a great season.

The Mahon brothers,Tanner played in the ball(prop/backrow) and Khyanu was in the Matthews(lock/edge).
Khyanu established himself as a starter and Tanner was a bit in and out during the season(pick up from the Bunnies).
The Ball side had plenty of talent in it,the recruitment team just decided that centre,wing and fullback weren't bothering with ......

Surely Kylan Mafoa has got to be close to making a return to NSW Cup. Think that might’ve been either his third or fourth game in Shield since returning from his injury. Has anyone got any inside info?
