Looks like we are making a smart move with our Shield side.
The best players from Ball after the season ends slowly trickle up into the Flegg side,this year's Flegg side is doing well and fairly settled and only Simione Laiafi has moved up.
We are selecting the better Ball players who have not forced their way into the Flegg side into the Shield side to continue their development(as well as some of the Flegg squad not selected in Flegg).
Smart move to continue developing kids who can move up if not immediately selected.
O'Connor,Naiyep,Dowall,Jackson and Apolosi Laiafi from Ball named last two weeks.
