SG Ball named team

Josh Clark – very little info but looks to be from the North Coast Bulldogs
Maxwell Taotua – played centre for the 2022 HM team
Teapo Stoltman – played centre in the QLD Mal Meninga cup. Is considered a “QLD schoolboy star”
Koby Douglas – from Endaevour Sports High. Played for the Sharks in HM and SG Ball and part of last year’s NSW CHS team.
Lehi Hopoate – HM last year and from the Hopoate clan. Has always played fullback so interesting to see how Josh Clark goes.
Latu Fainu – Needs no introduction and forms part of a very strong halves pairing with Bunting.
Tylor Bunting (c) – a highly regarded Panthers junior who joined us last year and a very accomplished goalkicker.
Noa Faatui – been in the Manly junior system for a while now.
Broden Konz – hooker from the Knights HM team.
Devante Jnr Mihinui – a prop who is a NZ junior who was part of Junior Warriors invitational squad
Mitchell Taotua – another who played HM last year. A lock/2nd rower.
Max Hayley – played centre in 2022 for the Townville Blackhawks in the Mal Meninga Cup GF.
Rene Bagon – played HM last year. Originally from Queensland and another with some big wraps.

Jake Fulton – another Bozo grandchild and played HM last year.
Antonio Taufa – played hooker last year in SG Ball
Xavier Sofeni-Calder – played junior rugby in Taranaki NZ and more recently played in eh Ipswich comp in QLD
Zedrick Tupulua – played HM Ball last year

Rory Morgan – not a lot of info but looks to have played schoolboy rugby for Knox Grammar
Ieremia Lealaiauloto - no info
Roy Quiroz-Mapusua – played HM last year and for Westfield SH. Not sure why he has been named on an extended bench as he had big wraps on him 2 years ago.

Not as many SG Ball players from last year still in this years squad. Last years squad was on the younger side I believe.

Or is it Scott Fulton?
A lot of those country kids were playing in the Laurie Daley cup and the Andrew Johns cup last year.(Best of the U18 and U16 juniors in each large region)
It is sort of like having all the best country juniors from each region playing each other over a 5 week span plus finals,we seemed to have cherry picked quite a few good talents like Josh Clark,Remi Mant,Jedd Pratt,Broden Konz,Benjamin O'Keefe,Campbell Munn for example
Or is it Scott Fulton?

Coach Watts of the Matthews Cup team has an impressive CV. Well worth a read. Also probably answers earlier comments as the "wave" of country players joining the Pathways.
