The guys a complete weird bit of gear. I was sitting in my seat in The Jane Try Stand watching The Eels game, and I was surrounded by The Blacktown Workers fellas who turned up to watch Jersey Flegg get destroyed by Badgers missus (ref). Joey Johns walks past, seriously muttering and talking to himself (out loud), almost having an argument.

All the Blacktown boys and I watched him, and when he was out of earshot, they were like, "what the hell was that about?". I thought they'd all crack up, but they were actually concerned it felt to me, and they were showing a whole lot of respect for him.

I thought it was gold, and that he was clearly just a nutcase. Can't stand him for steering Pearce to renege on his Manly deal to sign with The Knights while living on the beaches himself the ratbag.

Yeh I’m not sure how long he’s lived there for now but he’s down at Bronte beach everyday, usually with the kids and partner

I never watch 9 these days, but I enjoy Joey and his commentary. Seems like a he would be a great mate if you wanted to go out and have a good time. Bit jealous since we have drug and alcohol testing a work now. A few bad apples ruin it for everyone

I'm pretty sure Joey lived at Mona Vale but it stands to reason he moved to the Eastern Suburbs when he moved clubs.
