Waddell did some good hole running [ off Walker i think ] against Souths in that knock out final . if he has bulked up a bit and retained his mobility , could be very handy and combined with his usual solid work rate when the season commences . Missed a vital tackle as well in that final but obviously a very committed and probably improving footy player and would be good to retain long term for Manly . Would have to be in the mix somewhere for a starting or bench position at season "s start the way things appear at present .
 
JetSki has a higher ceiling and his nose in front in the eyes of the powers that be. Waddell is a worker but one of slowest forwards and lacks the explosiveness to be more than a bench option. He cost us with the no pass in the SF last year and needs to fight hard for a place in the side when everyone is fit. He is better edge option than prop and should not be seen anywhere near the middle third; ragdolled.
