Jerome Hughes

No CHN next week but apparently CNK is due back. Oh and a Storm player got rubbed out. That's bad luck then isn't it. 🙄

Canberra forward Corey Harawira-Naera has posted an emotional apology on social media after he was charged over his reckless tackle on Jahrome Hughes in Thursday night's loss to the Storm.

He is facing a four-week ban after he was sent off late in Thursday's game for high contact on the Melbourne halfback.

Yup , as others have rightly said.

Gets tackled high... immediate send off, melb cronk states its the worst he's ever seen, media guess length of bans; "oh no, a melb player was touched...!"

Same d-bag slides into rubes with his knees, late... could easily have been checked but nothing from anyone (including the media). MRC dropped the ball big time on that one. As I'm sure they don't need a knee in the face to remind them how dangerous the action is, still confused by the silence.

So with that... something something 'Karma' something something.
Oh boy 🙂

Would like to hear from The Better Robbo on this event... maybe he has an inside track and can fill us in on why the review/judiciary panel that does such a great job has ignored it.
I guess this one was just missed mate. I know they mark down every penalty and review the incidents after the game. If its not a penalty then sometimes they miss it. There is probably a lot that gets missed when you consider there is well over a thousand tackles a week. If you broke down every tackle you would find a lot more penalties. This one was quite obvious though and should have been picked up.
