Don't know what Supercoach Payten's problem with Nanai is but he'd look good in a Manly jersey and be a instant 10x improvement on Blurto.
His effort with the ball was worse, his stats from our game were embarrassing for a player of his caliber, Payton was right to drop him, big trouble in cow country…..He’s dropped because of his lazy defensive efforts. Great attacker but he was a big reason we cut that edge up all night
Paytens problem is that he is a Superflop coach who has failed to get his team firingDon't know what Supercoach Payten's problem with Nanai is but he'd look good in a Manly jersey and be a instant 10x improvement on Blurto.
Payten will be fired before rnd 10. Their pack is too small and leaving Nanai and Taumalolo in QCup is madness.Paytens problem is that he is a Superflop coach who has failed to get his team firing
He is losing the dressing room starting with the Super talented Nanai.
He looks very promising,Jacob Laban from the Wahs would be a cheaper option with plenty of upside

Great...
I can never see this thread without going "Jeremiah was a bullfrog....!!"
Or vanish’s completely if you believe some of the press. No way we could fit him under the cap right now. I'll be curious to see what we can accomplish next year once DCE's contract comes down a bit
Now you have done it GEGreat...

If that is true then we missed our shot when Terrell May came on the market…Regardless of cap space or not, talented Jeremiah is not what Manly needs.
We need a hard-nosed, hard working, hard straight running, hard tackling forward (either prop or second row).
Pretty clear to me we've been on the lookout for one, and have bought some short-term fixes while we wait for Mr right.
I'm not so sure.If that is true then we missed our shot when Terrell May came on the market…
Because DCE, Turbo and Jake and Haumole alone are taking up something like 35-40% of the cap and 26 players need to fit into the rest of it.Why, when talk turns to recruitment, does someone always claims we can't fit said player under our Cap? Yet a club like the Bulldogs, who have paid plenty for a completely new team over the past three seasons, is continually recruiting 'name' players? We have been paying 'unders' for our recruitment for several seasons. Even our highest paid recent recruit, Brooks, was an astute purchase. Plenty of clubs would have paid a lot more for him.
DCE and Turbo are not being overpaid in today's market; a market where the bog average Dylan Brown is on monopoly money.
I look at our roster and I'm "sure" our Cap situation is not as tight as I keep reading.
Most clubs have 4-6 players taking up 40% of their Cap.Because DCE, Turbo and Jake and Haumole alone are taking up something like 35-40% of the cap and 26 players need to fit into the rest of it.
