I see Faitala Mariner is also being shopped. Years ago was a good player. Not to sure how he goes nowadays as I barely watch any dogs games

Thought that Sua may have been one of the better back rowers going around [ not that i see much of Dragon's games ] . If the case to want to move him on , wonder what the current thinking is on the future make up of a Dragon "s pack [ or Flanaghan "s for that matter ]
Out of Manly "s range if he is on a purported 600 k and with the current Manly pack setting [ and Schuster to move back there soon ] but definitely a very effective forward at his best though

I think we should go to the market for another backrower if plausible. At least until burbo is ever ready to fill the void??. Schuster should come off the bench. Can cover halves, backrow and lock. Can relieve jakey for a bit in the middle like walks use too. Sua would be a really good get, and our pack would look really solid.

Maybe if Tuilagi was not on the books for a while yet and now most likely to accommodate Lodge for whatever time and of course a player of Sua 's calibre along with Olakau - atu in the back row would be a formidable pairing .
Really can not see why the Shu can not slot straight into an edge role and run on side and go quite well again with big minutes Well fitness and injury dependent again . always that 13 option so who really knows
Could be wrong and time will tell i guess but really can not see how leaving Jake as a 13 would enhance Manly 's over all competitiveness .
Stil that quite considerable cap increase to take into account and the relative cap variations and scope for more available funds in squad formations
Same would apply to all clubs naturally and the then still usual ability of certain clubs to garner the system to their advantage

I reckon Josh must be could be in a bit of doubt for the future. How many times has his shoulder been dislocated since he has been here, at least 4 or 5 times. That has to be a worry for sure

If there is one position we have covered it's second row: Guacca, Kelma, Bully, Burbo, potentially Fulton... and next season we'll have The Shoe.

This team isn't within a distant memory of competing with Panthers, Broncos and others in contending for a title. We need to get serious, and add some mobility, impact, intensity, pace and aggression there.

Suggestions:

1. Jake to prop
2. New Hooker
3. Tuilagi out
4. Schuster into the 12 jersey
5. MUCH better 14 required

Think players like Carrigan, Martin, Leniu & others. Also need a "specialist" 9. We have one that has the occasional standout game.

At WORST, the bench should be:

14. XXXXXXXX
15. Taniela Paseka
16. Sean Keppie
17. Matt Lodge

(and we need to go UP from there, now down).

Hopefully the after season opp will fix it, in the meantime just got to manage it the best way in the remaining games left.

Su'A has a whole heap of potential
He plays in a terrible team and if you watch Papalii as almost best 2nd rower in the comp last season, now looks like a NSW cup player for Tigers, filling in the top grade, gives an idea of what I mean by that
A very good player with much more potential than he has shown recently

Sua is a whole heap better
Our second rowers next season will be Guacca and The Shoe, with back-up from decent first graders such as Kelma, Burbo and Bully.
If Sua was a lock I'd agree he'd be a possible recruitment target. But in the past two seasons we've recruited three second rowers already, Kelma, Bully and Condon. Sua may be a slight upgrade on them, but I don't see the value. I think we have more of a priority in securing a versatile lock.
We have a few players above average in our top 17 (when fit): Turbo, DCE, Guacca, Sandwich and Jurbo. That's more star quality than the majority of clubs have. The remainder of our squad are average first-graders. Next season we will have Brookes, who has occasionally shown to be above average.
The Shoe is a conundrum. I just don't know if he'll fulfil his potential or be wasted as a second rower.
The X-factor in turning us from battlers into premiership contention is Turbo. If he could remain uninjured we'd give the comp a shake. But we all know that is unlikely.

Do you mean hopefully we can medically retire him and get him off our cap.

His contract dollars and term are ridiculous
