Fox versus SAAB Turbo.

Hasn "t had that many opportunities to contest bombs in recent times but that can "t be underestimated as a real strength for him as well . Glorious to watch when in full flight and burning opposition defenders and has scored some crucial game changing tries as well [ i e against the Titans recently ] Still in the learning process , especially in defence but seems willing and just doing so well now regardless and again in full flight , sure is a sight to behold . Looks like Garrick will be his wing partner for some time to come , maybe have to encourage Koula as a centre - cover full back , can "t keep them all , but would be great to keep Koula long term and to have his excellent speed as an asset as well .

Having Turbo and Saab hit top gear in the same backline has been a big factor in our club making more 50 + score lines in a season than ever before. And we still have 9 regular season games to play!

We may have the fastest back three in the NRL. Other contenders would include the Storm with Papenhuyzen, Addo-Carr & Jennings.

Looking forward to Rd 21 match up Saab v. Fox

He has that natural speed & running style that makes it look easy for him.

As others have said, he never seems to reach top gear, as even 2nd gear for him is enough to smoke opposition players.

Compare Garrick's 90 metre try a couple of weeks ago & how out of puff he was after it to Saab's seemingly effortless gliding down the wing multiple times a game & he doesn't even break a sweat.

EVERYTHING SAAB DOES IS FAST

Manly flyer Jason Saab is making a quicker than expected return from a hamstring injury. Originally it was feared that Saab would miss more than two months of action. However, Saab has been progressing well with his rehabilitation and has now earmarked Manly’s round seven clash against former coach Des Hasler as his likely comeback date.

Saabs hammy will get a good work out in the Tits game you'd have to think.

Do you mean ever?
Also, round 21 is against Easts.
Round 26 is against Canterbury.

SAAB SPRINTS AWAY

Manly speedster Jason Saab is ready to sprint into post-footy life.

Saab, who has been clocked at a top speed of 37.11km/h on an NRL field, has revealed plans to start-up speed camps for teenagers in metropolitan and rural areas.

Aware how some bush folk can struggle financially, Saab won’t charge the parents of kids living in country regions.

Saab has tentatively booked his opening camps for Wednesday, October 9, and Friday, October 11, this year. He has several options but hasn’t yet settled on a name for his business.

“We’ll find a cool name, don’t worry,” said Saab, who is out injured but hopes to return for Manly in round 7.

Saab wants to teach kids the mechanics of running and how to implement that speed in sporting codes, particular rugby league.

“Obviously, being Mr Fast Guy in rugby league, I’ve probably got something to offer when it comes to speed, and how to use your speed in rugby league; using it as a strength is probably my best weapon,” he said.

“It would be a good way to engage with the community and, if plans go well, then get out to rural areas where they don’t have that type of engagement with footy players.

“I also want to find a way to get a charity involved like Bear Cottage or Ronald McDonald House. It’s obviously a business and it could be something I transition into after footy but at the same time I want to give back as well.

“It’s not all about me being greedy and taking money from the kid’s parents. There could be a bit in it for everyone – the charity, kids, community and myself.”
