Jamie Lyon heads north.

Sat on a bus from Avalon to the city once (L90?) ... that was fun.

Anyway go Killer ... golf and pigging, living the dream

Skennar's Head is a relatively new (10 years) housing estate between Lennox Head & Ballina.
A $1.3m house would not look out of place there.
Jamie spends a lot of time at Ballina Golf Club.

does skennars pt get a clean wave?

Midsteyne,
Skennar's Head is on the northern end of an extended beach about 2-3kms long (South end is called Flat Rock), so it's exposed to southerlies but often there's a nice wave somewhere along the beach.
During my surfing days there was a shark that lived in that corner. That kept many surfers away.

Just around the corner, heading north, is Boulder Beach. No sand, just big rocks. An excelent point break that frequently worked during southerlies. Further north around the point is the famous Lennox Point.

I remember when you had to go the long way around to get to Lennox. There was no road directly to Ballina. It wasn't there at Easter '66, but it was there by Dec 73.

Living a n the tweed coast surfed all up and down thus region and there has been plenty of sharks getting around the last 5 or so years that I can vouch for but it's not a bad thing driving those qlders out of our water even the sharks are sick of them
