Jamie Humphreys

Now we are talking footy which is what we are supposed to here .....
Like I said ....
If the Dally Half was not just a year wonder his price would not drop from 1 mil to 600k
The Dally M wonder was also a Wooden spoon half
somewhere between $600k-750k is his right price - we got a good price.

Everyone in the NRL knows the $1m was an overpay.

@BOZO I mean this in a kind way but RUOK? You've been noticeably a bit more reactive and angry lately. In the past your reaction to comments like that you'd just swat away like flies and not react. Have you not been getting you leg over enough? Hope all is well feathered friend.
I am ok thank you , I hope you are well too . I stick to the game forum and not play chess and checkers and talk about people memes

Sometimes I like a bit of Biff and Banter on and of the forum 🙂

Even by your increase his 1m price is still a decrease feathered friend
Players Price in their Prime does not go down

If posters repeat the same thing, over and over, and over, and over again, along with a few helpful memes added for good measure, any narrative can take on a life of its own.

I'd suggest sticking to Checkers, and give the Chess a wide berth.
You mean Draughts.😉

When will the Americanisation (of our language) ever end?

And it should end, especially with that repellent quasi-dictator in the White House.

And Draughts are for drinking.

I pay that one feathered friend
Draughts are for drinking Indeed
especially after a Big Manly Win
Cheers and Go Manly ! 🙂

Okay he lost a game.

Clearly we made the correct decision - he is an awful player with no future. Can not believe he did not get them home (nothing to do with their forwards getting beaten up etc)
The readiness of some,to write him off was as quick as some who have lambasted the club for releasing him,so it works both ways. He’s looked solid, rather than anything spectacular to question the club’s decision and his first 3 FG games have been against Knights(for Manly last year) a very disrupted Dolphins and the lowly Dragons

Humphreys has demonstrated that he is a solid half. The issue is that we weren't in the market for a solid half when he was off contract. We already had one of those in Arthur. And even he is stuck behind the two excellent halves that we already have locking down the 6 and 7.

Exactly… 3 or 4 games is not gonna determine whether he is an NRL level half…

In the end we were not ready to offer him the opportunity that the vermin offered him and we move on…

not a major concern to me really, not like it’s a Schu or Latu situation where we pay massive overs on potential and end up with SFA…

Tbf i would have much rather the club letting Arthur go and keeping Humphreys instead but yes I guess he went for the opportunity not the $$
One of the things I took from Brent Reads article was the name Jake Arthur was not mentioned in his decision to go, mentioned DCE, Large and Walsh but no Arthur.

The club originally signed Arthur as a potential ball playing backrower, I found it strange Arthur wasn’t mentioned, though watching Arthur in those two trial games his future doesn’t look to be in the halves to me.
