He's not an excitement machine, but, doesn't make mistakes, competent tackler with a good kicking game and a good back up goal kicker if needed for Garrick.

He has a steady hand and great kicking game . Good game manager .
He is not an Elite half that can do it all on his own .
He is a competent half that can do what is required to assist his team to win a game .
He is not Brooks .

Mistakes happen when your pack is misfiring and that puts pressure on the halves
A half will play at a different level behind a different performing pack

At the moment he is playing behind a young , virile and mobile pack and a passionate coach that has his team well tuned firing on all cylinders and he overseas his boys not far away from the stands but side by side from the sidelines
All those things can make a Big Difference

Personally I like Fogarty
He is a Good Man and the signs of a good Man is that he puts his family first and he Takes the better money that is best for his family to come to Manly
He has plenty to offer and I hope he also can play with a well coached team to complement his skills . A better 5/8 than Brooks will also assist .

IMO Brooks is another recruitment at Manly that is holding us Back

I bet Seibold doesn't coach in excess of 500 NRL games. Seibolds win % is 48 Rickys is 51%. + one premiership. And I dont like Ricky, but I think i dislike Seiboild more after 12 rounds..

I see the obvious in what you see feathered friend
I do not see Seibold lasting Rickys duration
Just like I did not see Barrett either
But off course we all see different things like Parker , Harper and Croker

Yep, it'll be nice to have a calm head steering the ship under pressure instead of headless chook mode & 1% kicks on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd tackle.

I'm going to say something that is bound to get me a few disagrees and dislikes here.

We need 3-4 recruits with a higher ceiling than Bullemor.

I love Bully, want him re-signed, see him as an inportant part of our 17. However I do also think he is a touch overrated on this forum.

We need to build a premiership pack where Bullemor is the baseline not the aspiration.

Ricky was responsible for his last Canberra rebuild that made the Grand finals in 2019
Ricky was also Responsible for Losing the 2019 Grand final against the Roosters by 14 points to 8
Ricky was also Responsible for Winning the the 2002 Grand final against the Warriors by 30 points to 8
