Hope he can maintain his current form because I’m actually quite excited about this signing. I really hated the idea of moving guys out of position and having Brooks lead the halves, it felt like we’d be wasting what is a pretty talented roster. Fogarty can hopefully just do his job and I really think we’ll be fine, maybe even better than with DCE (especially now that his effort has gone out the window). Fogarty kicks well and just does what he needs, DCE often tries a big play where he’ll kick through on like 2nd tackle and it doesn’t work. I like having someone who will just kick well and play a bit of a methodical style, assuming Seibold and co don’t try and push something else onto him. In the meantime, we need to hold on to our youngsters and really look at bringing in a new forward for next year.

Defence has been good,can't help Timoko making poor decisions,moves all around the field,organised them well, doesn't overplay his hand and uses his forwards and runners well.
Seems very calm and a leader.

Brooks is signed for next year. Walsh should definitely be ready by 2027. Id like to see him play 15 games before 2027

Dont worry I was thinking the same a few weeks back about Brooks after he missed 8 or 9 tackles.

It is all opinion,for me I thought he was strong,read what was happening,brought down the forwards who came his way,stuck to his man in front of him,not getting fooled by the offence
The only poor part I saw was Timoko having no idea at centre who to take,coming in unnecessarily etc
Interesting to know what part or parts were poor from him ....

Both Brooks and Walsh are signed until the end of 2027. You're stirring up a drama that literally cannot occur. He can't leave the club unless we let him go. It's not like the Humphreys situation, where his contract lapsed. This is impossible.

Regardless, if Walsh steps up next year, we will have 3 half's for 2 positions, regardless of how long they are signed for.
We have all seen, contracts can be flexible if necessary.

We have all seen, contracts can be flexible if necessary.

I could see him getting a solid contract in the super league for a couple of years if we wanted to shift him in 2027. Personally feel he is going to definitely be surplus to our needs by then.
