So it looks like he’s going to get a bigger offer at Canberra for two years.

Thanks but I did pick up on that obvious reason…maybe not strange to you but if they wanted him as badly as Stuart has publicly suggested, it could have been taken out everyone else’s hands had they triggered the deal. Instead, to save 100-150k, they’re now in a fight to keep him.
We just need a fill in, it’s going to be **** whichever way you look at it , couple of rough years coming.

Not like the past few years have been much better. We are a premier club, making finals shouldn’t be good enough. We should be in the business of winning premierships, just wish our owners had the same mindset.
The owners want a return on investment, not sure that huge success meets their expectations

By memory Penn acquired full ownership of the club 2013/14…I rest my case. We don’t stand a chance when our owners don’t prioritise success on the field. Our owners don’t even reside in Australia, let alone care about our on field results. The sad thing is the ones who hurt most are us fans.

It would be a foolish move going for DCE, Katoa is the future DCE is looking only for a pre retirement top up.

If this doesn't come off what about Hastings at 6 at $350 for a year, I don't think he'd get more than that here unless he goes back to england, he'd be better depth than what we currently have and looking to redeem himself. We're not winning a anything next year anyway short term it might fix our salary cap allow us to get some forwards and wait on the young guys coming through.
