Huge loss. I would actually consider bringing in De Luis to tackle his guts out in 13 and keep everyone else doing their usual role. Aloiai can't do the minutes Jake does. Keppie could do Jake's job for a while also. But De Luis is the best option for no frills, mistake free 80min of middle defence

Not good and really an open question to make an adjustment . Walker may be able to play bigger minutes but be surprised that he starts there . Quite a reasonable suggestion with De Luis , has a decent clearance pass and work rate and ruck efficiency definitely reliable . Probably not the time to try Schuster there but surely bigger minutes for him this week . Recall that Paseka played as a 13 a few times in the lower grades but very unlikely to be considered there , Same with Keppie and and Alioia . Oloka - atu and Davey could play there but then would detract from how well they are both going on the edges at present . Playing a bogy team but just have to get on with it regardless .

How about Bullemor to lock, he was selected there recently in reserves. He could probably last longer than some other candidates and the wisdom seems to be that he's best in the middle anyway?
Only problem with that is that Paseka appears to be next forward up so it probably won't happen.

Would have been good if he did actually play at 13 the previous week but just did not eventuate apparently . Not being used properly and just looks a bit lost in his recent Black Town appearance on an edge . Probably could have the attributes for a decent 13 role but needs a bit better grounding and form lift for that to occur any time soon . Still think just on ability and potential, he has something going for him and can still do good somewhere in the Manly pack and at a higher level .
