So he's part of Canterbury's 'pathways' plan . . .
Pathways to the poker machine payouts!
I am not a gambling fan, I wish they played far less role in normalising this behaviour, no club is excempt even the Eagles have gambling sponsors

I wish we had more gambling proceeds so we could compete more fairly for decent players. Better still, a rich and benevolent owner or benefactor. Rarely during Penn's reign has the club attracted a player in demand. Of the 20 or so ex-Penrith players who have been enticed over the past four seasons to other clubs we have managed to attract none. Can't tell me none of them would appreciate the idylic beaches lifestyle.

I disagree, gambling proceeds havebt bought the current Dogs roster, half of them were throwaways from other clubs who didn't want them. I sound like a broken record banging on about this but once the Turbos and DCE go, there will be alot open in the salary cap, of course the lifestyle would be part of it

You don’t wonder why the likes of Crichton, Burton, Kikau and Mahoney went to the Dogs when they were winning spoons and losing games 66-0?

What are you talking about...we managed to attract Waddell, who is a Panthers junior.

A fair few of the Bulldogs players actually live in the Sutherland shire. The location isnt the issue.
I know. I was being facetious.

The southeastern suburbs around Coogee/Maroubra are another favourite residential haunt for C-B players. Good connectivity with the Dishlicking Zone via the M5E.

What does it say about the district they represent? They do not want to live there either.🙂

I dont think travelling to work is problem for the players, regular joes travel and hour+ to get to work. Apart from the beach, the northern beaches isn't what it used to be anyways, i wouldnt consider the overpopulation and sub par infrastructure of the northern beaches to be part of the idylic lifestyle. Not from my experiences anyway resident 30+ years
