This is how I see it.

1. Brett – Will Leave
2. Oldfield – Will Stay
3. Jamie – Will Stay
4. Matai – Will Stay
5. Wolf – Will Stay
6. Foran – Will Leave
7. DCE – Will Stay
8. Kite – Will Stay (2 Years)
9. Ballin – Will Stay
10. George – Will Stay
11. Choc – Will Stay (Will be 2013 Captain)
12. T-Rex – Will Stay
13. Glen – Will Leave
14. Joe – Will Stay (2 Years)
15. Lussick – Will Stay
16. Mauro – Will Stay
17. Buhrer – Will Stay

So when that happens we could have the following side:

1. Matai (Preserves his neck)
2. Oldfield
3. Jamie
4. Whare
5. Wolf
6. Ricardi
7. DCE
8. Kite
9. Ballin
10. George
11. Choc
12. T-Rex
13. Buhrer
14. Joe
15. Lussick
16. Mauro
17. Cunningham

That’ll do me.

You lost me at 1. Matai.

Where do you think Brett and Glen will go by the way ? Follow Des ?

I don't know the answer to that, but they are extremely close to him. The general point I am making is that we will have a strong side regardless. I respect what Des has done over the past 8 years and I don't know who is the one at fault in all of this, but I do know he needs to go now for the good of the club and any player that wishes to follow should also just go. I want a team to take the field who wants to be here under Tooves.

Ben Farrar at fullback with Ferris at 5/8 for me should Foz go.
There is a lot to  about Manly no matter the configuration.

Have look at the Foran staying article.
Lussick is the only one likely to be leaving. I hear the eels have made him a massive offer.

Fully Lussick is very close mates with DCE and Choc. Hope thats enough reason for him to stay!!

twitter convo yesterday

BTW @D_LUSSICK Any Truth at your mention in the TELECRAP ?

@berkeley_eagle @mattyback22 @rubyprecious still at manly for next year. Hopefully they wanna keep me.

If Brett, Glenn and Foran do leave, as you say, surely that would be enough to bolster our squad from the outside considerably! One or two big names...

Agreed, but if they can exercise their get out clause for next season, there isn't anyone left to buy.

There is any number of possibilities, but the key point is we will still have a very strong roster and a new coaching staff extremely motivated to prove that we don't need Des to be successful.

It's only the DT and dogs fans that have some of the players leaving.
I reckon none of them will leave for the bulldogs.

Why isn't the Telecrap doing a story on all the loyal Dogs players and officials that will be shoved out of Belmore to make room for Dessie's crew? That's the real story that should be run if any of you media hacks are reading this forum.

personally i would be extremely shocked if brett left and dissapointed ,if anything maybe a big payday in england but not just yet??

foran i think has one foot out the door but thats just me and im happy to be wrong

If the Stewart brothers leave it will shed an interesting light on current propaganda and spin campaigns. Knowing the mob mentality here, it will probably be enough for most if you to damn him guilty of the crime he didn't commit.

I think most who will turn their backs on Toovey have. I personally think with him at the helm this coming season, bonding will occur. It happens in any organization - if you have a boss you love go, you get concerned. If a new boss comes in, and shows quality attributes, you quickly become attached to that person as well.

If we manage our cap appropriately, we should be able to keep who we want in my opinion.

01. Brett Stewart
02. Ben Farrar
03. Steve Matai
04. Jamie Lyon
05. David Williams
06. Kieran Foran
07. Daly Cherry-Evans
08. Jason King
09. Matt Ballin
10. Brent Kite
11. Anthony Watmough
12. Tony Williams
13. Glenn Stewart

14. Jamie Buhrer
15. George Rose
16. Darcy Lussick
17. Joe Galuvao

Coach: Geoff Toovey
Recruitment: Dave Wawrick
Fitness: Don Singe

Not that much has actually changed !

18. Vic Mauro
19. Tim Robinson
20. Dean Whare
21. Michael Oldfield
22. Daniel Harrison
23. James Cunningham

Facts are: Every team has the same salary cap as us. Bulldogs just can't throw huge offers at all our players like they have with Hodkinson, Morris, Graham, Pritchard, Eastwood, Stagg, Ennis, Keating, Tolman, Turner and co. then re-sign big contracts with Barba & co.

You look at our team, and we have a fair few reachers (players who play above their abilities), and that bodes well contract wise.

It all comes down to Toovey creating a culture, and I really hope he is already starting to do so.

Perry needs to step up as well. He's been too quiet.

lol Ryan, now you have Farrar in your starting line up.
3 weeks ago he couldn't even get a gig on your bench.

Ryan, it's good to read that you're not ditching the Stewart brothers, as are some posters. I can't see why they would leave. If Hasler went to the rorters, maybe, but I can't see them fitting into the 'culture' at Belmore. On your YART, surely Whare deserves a spot above Farrar?

And Ralphie, I haven't seen much of Riccardi. Is he that good?
