If it's between Katoa and Fogarty, Katoa every day. He's a future Origin player. Sorry Onitoni Large, play fullback or centre in a few years.

Also worth noting that if we get him, and stick with Onitoni at 5/8 long term, we have the entire future Tongan spine of Hoppa, Large, Katoa, and Ashton Large. Not much competition for Tongan spine positions in the future outside of those four. That's good for both Tonga and Manly.

He is under contract until 2028. It's illegal for any team to talk to him before November 2027 unless they are given permission by the Dolphins, which they won't get.
And there is no indication at all he wants to leave. He signed a contract extension only last year.
I said in an earlier posts the Dolphins should be reporting this to the NRL.

Rumours circled around in Sydney yesterday that Penrith and Manly wanted Katoa and Bulldogs showing some interest.

Katoa is the face and marquee player of the Dolphins. He's one player I feel comfortable giving a 10 year deal too the only others I give 10 year deals too are non players like Bellamy and Gould.
