Definitely, and on the flip side, whether it be Bunker replays or just tv replays, when we have a review going they over kill the replay and angles over again and again, almost looking for the slightest infringement to bag us. So damn obvious.

Yep, exactly. You can see the agenda as clear as day where there is the replay overkill for some teams/situations, and not others.

To add, this notion of 'bounce of the ball' or 50/50 calls always going the way of a confident winning team is total BS!
The refs don't adjudicate what they see, they are blinded and manipulated by these 'winning' teams i.e Roosters, Storm

Just last year, a certain player was exonerated for what was a blatant foul as written in the rules for such an action...

Now.. the NRL’s pet journalists, within hours of said incident, started a narrative regarding his innocence. By the time he faced the judiciary, all and sundry had him odds on to get off, and based this on the “fact” that he hit him with his chest and pec and that this alone should be enough to exonerate him without even playing the “nit his go”, “future immortal” and “it’s his last game give him a break” cards...

Player gets off, plays in the GF, and karma has the last laugh...

No bookie would place odds on that happening with any other club or any other player. Period

Nrl being rigged for me started in the 2013 grand final where lets face it if we had of won that premiership we would have had 3 titles in 5 years and that is not want the Nrl wanted because the Nrl comp is being sold as an even competition. I know Wolfman played poorly but the biased decisions with forward passes, referees closing there eyes when we should have been awarded the penalties and many more poor decisions. If you look after the 2013 grand final we have had fairy tales galore, rabbits, Cowgirls, Sharks, Storm finally getting there 2nd premiership back and Brown paperbags showing how you can win comps with state of origin squads. Nrl have been happy that Manly hasn't even looked like coming back to the fold as premiership contenders again but mark my words with Dessy at the helm the hatred of us will be making the Nrl shake in there boots again..

I’ve pointed it out before but it is worth repeating.

The set of 6 after we went ahead 18-8 in the 2013 GF. Last tackle bomb, Jamie Lyon blatantly blocked from jumping for the bomb, or an “escort” in 2019 language.

And there are far too many gambling elements with fingers in the pie, just like racing. No surprise that the increased ‘smoke’ around the rigging ‘fire’ has coincided with an exponential rise in gambling involvement with rugby league.

This Tigers/Titans game is the epitome of the problem.

Refs seem to get caught up in producing a "contest", with the thought process seemingly being that fans want close, exciting games.

Instead of simply calling it as they see it, the refs appear to be swayed with the way they feel momentum needs to go in order to produce/manage a contest.

These wild swings in ref calls, and therefore momentum seem to go both ways during a game.
To their credit, Tigers took their chances, and the Titans didnt.

Very fustrating to watch, and really not neccessary as a fan. Just let the players sort it out.

just simple things that they let players get away with as gamesmanship is something that they could just get a grip. There was a 'tackle' today in the second half. A Manly player had been tackled, around the legs was lying on the ground just waiting to be released to get up and an A.C.T/ Green Machine player just drove himself into the player on the ground. Stuff happens but it was so blatant and unnecessary , right in the view of the ref... and nothing. A penalty there and then shows that you can't do this grubby sh*t.
it's not a bit of biff or tough play, it's just f*ckin dirty and a dog act. Put the whistle in the mouth and call it out ffs. Same when Mitchell ragdolled Elliot the other week in the in goal when the ball was dead.. and nothing. They seem to be getting more spineless as the years roll on.

I think it was Buderus that questioned a cpl of those piggy back penalties, then you can just about hear the producer in their ear-piece barking at them to "move on, nothing to see here". No replays, on we go.

I think it was Croker as the victim. I hate seeing that dog act, no matter what team. Of course the reasoning is that he’s not tackled, and the opp player has every right to belt him. Surely there must be some limit to what constitutes legally tackling a player in a prone position on the ground to just running in and using them as a trampoline.
I was watching a local A grade game last year at Burleigh. Exactly the same thing, and it was on for young and old. Everyone knew it was a dog act. But of course the other team got the penalty, because it was deemed to be fair play according to the rules.

We beat the raiders and won the penalty count as well. In my history as a Manly supporter I do not recall ever winning a penalty count so convincingly. Not only am I extremely suspicious, but also believe something is just not right. Then it hit me, JDB court decision being handed down during the week and if it goes against the NRL I am sure they do not want Manly claiming their amounts of compensation for the absence of Walker as well.

Greenturd must have flamboyantly instructed the referees to be creative and bare Manly gifts, to make us feel special and to show that Greenturd does not discriminate against us, and treats us like every other NRL team in the comp. Love the kind gesture Todd, but you can still leave asap.
