Inu charged with Grade 4 dangerous throw

Krisnan Inu could serve as many as seven weeks on the sidelines after his spear tackle on Greg
Inglis was deemed worthy of a grade four dangerous throw charge by the match review committee.

Inu stayed on the field, despite many good judges believing the crude tackle could have warranted a send off as Canterbury-Bankstown faced South Sydney on Friday.

But he wasn't missed by the citing commission, leaving the Bulldogs with a big decision to make on whether or not to fight the charge at the judiciary.

Fair enough. They will get it downgraded one level surely. Then 4 weeks suspension.

Well DT said he will get 5 weeks if he pleads guilty, but you would think that the dogs will contest the grading.

If they lose he gets 7 weeks. Either way, he wont be playing this weekend.

All you can do is compare it to T-Rex last year. Inu's was worse. Should be 9 weeks.
Having said that, Richie should never have got anything & Brenton probably deserved a week or two, so who knows.

It's all about respect for the refs and to carry that down to the juniors.
Any other code he would have been carded for the game as well as soon as he touched him.
