If no DCE, what halves could of won us a premiership by now!

Don’t know about a premiership, but without Dce we might have held on to Hynes, Metcalf, Fainu, Foran, Humphreys, Gutho.

And I guess could have signed any number of other halves such as Moses, Fogarty, Reynolds in the period.
Wow.. exactly and too the point

I'm really struggling to support this guy atm..

In hindsight...If only we could turn back time i would have happily shown him the door and off to the Titans .

I remember how gutted I was when that whole fiasco unfolded.. and then over the moon I was at his backflip..
But right there was an indicator of who he really was. And he hasn't changed.

We could have kept Gutho if Fulton hadn't have wanted Dylan Walker.

Imagine if we had kept Gutho? As far as I'm concerned he's the ultimate professional & while he may not be a gun in a particular position, he's an awesome clubman who makes up for any of his shortfalls with pure effort & determination.

You know he'll always give 110% regardless of what position you put him in - he could have developed into a great 5/8th for us & filled in for Turbo when he's been out injured. He could have played anywhere in the backline for us.

What could have been...

At the time he had some serious concerns over his longevity though due to knee injuries…

Missed about 3 games since we let him go 🤣🤣🤣

Not only the players in those positions who may have worked out well instead, but what about the possible players in other positions we missed out and players who left because of how much was spent on DCE?

This is the exact reason any contract in excess of 5 years is an extremely risky play. I hope the club learns a massive lesson from this DCE contract fail and NEVER falls into that trap again. No matter who the player is.

A leopard never changes it spots…

I can accept a move to Redcliffe, due to his connection to the club, retirement or the English Super League. Anything else is a slap in the face and further justifies what the 2011 senior playing group were pissed off about. Money is more important to DCE than winning the club a premiership.
