In each game we had a spell of about 15 minutes that we did OK, the rest of the game we spend chasing our tales with school boy errors and catastrophic turnovers that give our battered defence no chance!

I too had a mild warm feeling after the passage of play that led to our try.

I said to my wife, we won't win, but if we can get to within 10 points, I'll be happy.

The last 2 weeks I noticed we have tried to create space with ball movement and players in motion little more than previous Okay we have dropped it most times but seems a shift to meet the new game instead of just standing in a bunch running one off.

agreed Woodsie. There were some positives - there are always positives no matter how bad things look. We have the makings of a very decent pack in a couple of weeks - Paseka Cust Keppie Aloiai Sironen Haumole Schuster (although I might be tempted to put him at Centre or 5/8 where I think he should be) Jake. With Walker in the Centres with Harper (if no Schuster) - this will have to happen if Turbo is back and Turbo back there... we have the makings of a pretty decent backline. The silly mistakes ie Walker's cut out pass, Schuster's tip ons especially when we have had no ball... they are the killers. Just need to hold on to the ball, play out the set of 6 and let Foran put a kick into the ingoal for a repeat set.

exactly - changes are needed - they will be made, players will come back from injury - we will win again - pretty simple

There were glimpses. If it was a 2 minute game we would be a chance of a draw. But tell me anyone who leaves satisfied after a 2 minute performance..?
