I love Nathan Brown

He was very ordinary in the trial game and looked out of touch, played good when he came on with Bully at the 20 minute mark against the Storm, went to the line with the ball and looked good in that link man role.

Problem is both he and Jake are similar players and having them both out there we lack punch in the middle, add Tevega to that and you are relying on ruck speed and you need a genuine number nine to take advantage of it.

Brown definitely out of form but the bloke wearing the thirteen is in the same boat.

Disappointing, but hopefully... This time... We finally get to see some Navale.

Unfortunately, it'll just be Croker to hooker, and Tevaga to bench.
God I hope not - but I fear you may be correct

Patolo must be getting close to getting a run
Just have to see how Lodge goes and no more props going down .
May still opt for Navale on the bench with Jass even starting as a prop and Simpkin starting as the 9 if Lodge cannot measure up anytime soon .
Patolo does seem to have something to offer but not sure how far off he may be based on his N S W cup form over time and then in a situation to be placed ahead of Navale .
Maybe not that far off at all if he has been generally doing O K

I hate seeing players (from any team) get long term injuries, it really saddens me.

Even an Eels player.
