I don’t want to be negative but:

Same here. It could be 18 nil if he had just managed to get them over the bar.

They'll work on that through the week if his ankle allows.  He has kicked some clutch goals in the last few weeks.

Even Matai could have  kicked better.
Take the pressure off OX. Let someone else kick.

Just on that. Matai had a sensational game. 😀 😀 😀 😀

Matai grabbed his shoulder early on , and I was a bit concerned , but that seemed to switch him on.

I was more concerned when he was clutching his neck.

he grabs at his neck after every tackle every week, don't worry!

Not like that he doesn't

I'm really more worried about his shoulder than his neck. He was walking along with basically no movement in his shoulder at half time (I think). He'
ll be fine next week!

Prior to tonight Ox's kicking was the best I've seen from him in his three years at Manly. At Penrith he was slotting them from all over the joint, and he was on fire against the Dragons as well.

He had some tough kicks tonight (two from the sideline?) but he did have an off night. Other than that he was very much on song though. As was Matai. As was Lyon. Those three were all excellent actually....

My brother happened to be going past Brooky Oval on Friday night and saw the lights on and stopped to have a look. It was Orford by himself kicking goals, and by all accounts sweetly and didn't miss one. I don't think it is anything to get too worried about, as pointed out we have very good backup if required.
