Flicked through the Mounties magazine (the club that has taken over the Harbord Diggers) and almost dropped my walking cane and blanket. After a lifetime (at least 30 years) of having the Johnny O'Keefe and early 1960's tribute shows on every weekend, they now have a Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, and 1970's hits show - possibly some songs I may actually know. Give it 8 more years and I can put on my slippers and listen to a Hendrix tribute.


Don't worry the rest of you. Only another 20 years and they will have Madonna tributes... :blaugh: :blaugh: :blaugh:

Remind me of late show joke where they were interviewing Veitnam war vets. Went along the lines of sure there was a great soundtrack, hendrix, the stones but think of what would happen if war broke out now, you would have Kylie and Jason and no one should be subjected to that.

At least i had U2, the gunners and pearl jam playing some decent stuff
