If we dont sign orford, glancing an eye over the players off contract over the next few years barring the emergence of a young talented freak of a halfback, then we are a goorner. Back to bottom of the table for us I am afraid, so we all need we can sign Orford and start to build a team around him for the next few years.

If we miss out on Orford next year should be a year in which we groom (no pun intended) a player like Burns at halfback, allowing Monas to slot in at hooker.

Later in the year of 2006, start playing Groom off the bench....... 2007 he'll be 19 turning 20, and be our starting half.
