I’m not one for ‘calling out’ players but….

If we are calling out players then in my opinion I don’t think Saab, Koula or Ola care about Manly.

Undeniable talent, but I do not feel it with those three, and I don’t think our captain nor our coach are strong enough to call them out.

As long as things are as they are this club will continue to fail.

We need players more like Talau, Brown, and Hoppa who put their bodies on the line, seek the ball, and play with a degree of passion for the club.

I think this is a serious but unspoken issue, and it’s not just about tonight it’s been going on for years with them, with few exceptions.

The rest of the players are either late in their careers or bit players, but when you have three of your most talented players not loving the club they play for, and no strong leaders to call them out this situation is gonna repeat itself, sadly.

Simpkins losing his spot to Crocker is why Siebold should lose his job but Simpkins not even being on the bench while Gordie gets that spot is why he should lose it this week,better coaches might take advange of the extra motivation simpkins would have had playing against his old club rather than pick the guy so thick he can't bend at the waste and pass properly

It's that or he's picking Gordie because he had to punt his other Macca buddy earlier in the year. Probably something to do with the economy of scale and having someone to share family box meals with.

Also he seems to dwell when picking up the ball for a fraction. Seems like he struggles to grab hold correctly. Surely the coaching staff have noticed this weakness ?

What's Ennis doing? Wasn't he hired for that reason to help the dummy halves?

I cannot understand why Simpkins is not our starting hooker. Croker's service is slow and his kicking game from dummy half is ineffective. Similarly Gordie's service from dummy is slow and sloppy. What is Seibold thinking? Dummy half service is critical in attack and we paid big time last night.

The best we have looked in years is api in 2021 and simpkin this year at nine

We looked so better with him there I like croker as a person but his time as our nine is up and we will never go deep into finals with him as our nine

The inattention, the lack of urgency, not putting the body on the line, stupid decisions, lack of effort for team - and that’s just the first half!

Someone needs to tell them they dreaming if they think those efforts are good enough.

Hooker has been a weakness for us since 2019 yet somehow doesn't seem to have improved with him now at the club? the fact is we are not a top 4 side we are imposters who think we are top 4 and it showed last night clearly that we really don’t belong in the 8 at all…we are more of a 9th 10th placed team….the blame should be aimed at our owner he has no idea when it comes to building a successful team and culture and the last 10 years have proven that…look at the coaches we have had and players…there is so much wrong and nothing will change until we get serious new owners but yeah I don’t see that happening anytime soon…he has failed and needs to go….let’s just say this if I were to win euro powerball and was successful in buying out penn there would be only a handful of current players I would keep everyone else including coaching staff and other staff I would sack or pay for them to get the f out of here and unfortunately that handful that stays would not include some big payed current names
