Now finally our beloved Manly, don't understand how some of fans here don't reckon we will improve from this year and be contenders. We have a young core that has grown throughout this season in some difficult adversities, they will grow even more and have that fire in the belly. I could go into more depth but I'll be typing forever, but I'll just say I'm confident if we stay relatively healthy, use that fire in our belly from this year's final series, we can be contending again. This year was the year our premiership window opened again, we will be there next year, more ready than ever.

In the back of my mind i still have that 2019-2020 transition. Granted that we have a better crop of players going fwd compared to then but Turbo was a big reason we went well and fingers crossed has turned a corner with his injury issues. Roosters were really hampered by injuries and should have finished in the 4 this yr . We are 5-8 at this stage but hoping that a full pre-season and some contingency plans for missing players am hoping our boys have an equal if not improved 22. We are way to inconsistent this yr to think anything more IMO.

The one team which will be interesting to watch is Canterbury. They have bought 7-8 very good players so they must improve. But how much is the question? Will these 'guns-for-hire' fire for a club of which they are only there for mercenary reasons?
It's hard to buy team spirit, and while I think they may sneak into the top eight I can't see them being a real threat to the top six clubs.
Got to be close to a Top 8 spot (6 - 8). Too many good players particularly Burton.

Will be interesting to see how burton goes once out of the Penrith side. Still think they are bottom 8 but could trouble some of the top 8 with a couple of players with speed (Burton, JAC, Dufty etc).

I'm watching lots of our 2021 condensed games. We have amazing attack, but in the clear light of day there are some glaring defensive issues. Particularly in the Warriors second game we won 38-32, vs Titans and the tigers game. The team remedied these somewhat as the finals drew nearer, but there is quite a bit more work to be done ahead of next year. I am sure Dessie is on it, and there were good signs in the Parra wins and for long periods of some games vs top teams

The downward movers will be the teams with key players not signed up and they will be chased hard from November 1st. An extra $9m to splash around from the new team plus the Tigers $1.6m and the Roosters $6.5m still left in the cap.
