Waaaaaaay to early for predictions as we don’t really know who’s coming / going completely from each team but just for interest how do you see this years top 8 figuring in 2022 ( not as in position just if they’ll improve or regress).

Due to personnel changes I think South’s will regress , a good side but no Adam Reynolds will hurt ( and others leaving ).

Panthers losing a few but they have the bulk of their top players remaining , maybe not back to back but they’ll be up there.

Storm , will be the Storm , no point in saying otherwise , they do it EVERY year.

Eels , will look like Premiers in April and choke again.

Roosters , could improve just because they had the injury year from hell, I’d expect them to be too 4 again.

Titans , I see them as big improvers, they’ve got quite a good side now and the passion seems to be there.

Knights , probably about the same.

And Manly, yes I’m biased but 2023-23 could be our Premiership window. The makings are there , just need a few more parts and for our defence to get in order.

So do you agree , or have different ideas???

Definitely in our premiership window right now, so we could win it next year or certainly be very close, probably for the next couple of years at least.

Titans lose both their starting halves from their last game,as well as Ash Taylor.Sexton and Brimson most likely to be their halves to start the year but they’ll need plenty of time to develop given Sextons age and experience and Brimson has hardly played 6 or 7 in first grade. The Titans spot in the 8 is precarious given they were 10&14 this year and dependent on the improvement of teams lower than them

Overall riff will be there again as will storm. Souths can't go near it without Reynolds imo, Parra looks as though there turned the corner. Broncos will sneak in with roster additions, eagles we need desperately a front rower who owns the game and all our middles for that matter.

Panfers will be there abouts again.
Souffs maybe a slight drop but still up there.
Storm top 4 again
Manly same but we need better defense.
Rorters will be strong
Parra will be Parra
The rest make up the numbers.
Unless we stiffen up the middle and edge defense and become more resilient with less errors we won't challenge for the title. I can't see us winning with Foran, Parker and Harper in those positions.

Tough decision needs to be made on foz, schuster is the future.

I can’t see the top 6 changing… it was miles ahead of the rest. The order may shift, but it’ll be the same teams.

Positions 7 and 8 could be any number of teams.

As hard as it is to say, Manly are probably the only team that could slip if we don’t get a good run with injuries like this year. Turbo playing 15+ games is critical

Take Souths best player out and the Wayne factor and replace with Milford and the coaching apprentice and they will slip to 8th /9th
Roosters get some back esp Keary
Penrith will keep up
Parra will crumble,
Brisbane big improvement.
Warriors are my top to suprise next year.

I'm going to run with the same eight as this season. I think we have the capacity to finish in the top two, but I can see the Rabbitohs not finishing top four next year. The Eels will scrape into the eight, but the others will be pretty much the same. Personally, I would love to see the Storm implode and finish last, but it's highly unlikely. 😉😃😎
Panthers
Sea Eagles
Storm
Roosters
Rabbitohs
Titans
Knights
Eels

I agree

Either long term injury to turbo or DCE we are going to struggle it hurts me saying this but it's the truth. We still are as a club reliant on a few players.

To answer the original question

Storm will be there again top 2,3

Easts easily back to top 2,3 keary and Collins to come back.

Parra..NRL will now have them as the next choosen team, if they play like that panthers game next year I can sadly seeing them going deep next year maybe my Smokey.

Panthers .. will be there about' s but don't see them going back to back next year.

Titans... could be a big improver not top 4 but 5th or 6th finish.

The rest don't see doing to much damage.

Now for manly..

2022 I still don't think we are ready yet to contend. Our forward pack still lacks a real forward leader. I would go after both Mark Nic from south's and Chirstian W from storm would be perfect buys for us, I don't think we will though.

Our team is still way more turbo reliant
and in my eyes we are to nice of a team. Even turbo needs to get some mongrel in his game next year.

I see us at least 2 years away from really being a threat.

2022 turbo plays a good half of the games and we get a good run of injuries we probably finish 4-6th range, with another unlucky season of injuries us fighting for 8th spot.

The one team which will be interesting to watch is Canterbury. They have bought 7-8 very good players so they must improve. But how much is the question? Will these 'guns-for-hire' fire for a club of which they are only there for mercenary reasons?
It's hard to buy team spirit, and while I think they may sneak into the top eight I can't see them being a real threat to the top six clubs.

The other thing about Souths is the new coach. He has been an assistant forever, and seems agitated in the box next to the calm Bennett. Souths have benefitted from the calm approach. The new bloke seems too all over the place, leaning forward riding all the plays, betraying his emotions with grimaces and angry looks.

South’s are rooted .. will just scrap in .

Panthers .. will have another couple of years of contending for #1

Storm are rooted .. the gloss is becoming tarnished .. will drop a few places ..

Eels are really rooted ... struggle to make 7th ...

Roosters will climb back up to top 4

Titans will make top 8

Knights .. will implode into mediocracy again ..

Manly .. top 4 with a bullett!

Can see the Sharks moving up with Fitzgibbon as coach and their new signings having an impact. Broncos and Bulldogs will definitely improve too but don't know if they will by enough to make the 8. If I had to say now, Sharks into the 8 for Knights and Roosters making the top 4 in place of Souffs.

With the Dogs and Sharks making quality signings along with the Roosters getting back some key players and Souths losing quality players/coach, I don't think next years top 3 will finish as far ahead of everyone else compared to this year.

I expect the Dogs to move up at least 4 places with Burton, Addo Carr and co coming across. Premiership winners will definitely improve them even with Barrett at the helm.

Same with the Sharks in regards to premiership winners in Finucane and Hynes. They should finish in the 8 and expect the Knights to miss out.

With Souths losing Bennett, Reynolds, Gagai, Sua and possibly Marshall, I expect them to drop down the ladder but should still finish in the 8.

I expect the Top 4 to be Panthers, Storm, Roosters and us.

Remaining 4 spots in the 8 to be taken up by any of: Souths, Parra, Titans, Sharks, Knights, Dogs and even the Broncos with Reynolds at 7 and some great young talent.

Can't see any of the other 5 teams making a difference on this year.

I think you are right , for and against might decide a number of spots next year.
