How many wins to make the semis

2018 was the biggest gap between top and bottom 8. Top 8 settled by halfway through the season. Worst season ever (and closest we have come to spoon).

7 from 11 is doable that we are in the 8 and some teams below us have an average for and against. Makes me think 28 might be the cutoff.

We can't afford to throw away points like we did with our poor effort against the Titans. But for that shocker we would be on 16 points and looking much better. Poor performances waste the great efforts we put in against good sides. I believe we finally have our halves right and most of our troops are back on deck. Time for lift off.

I wonder how many wins are required this season to make the semi's.
2018 6th,7th & 8th all had 15 wins
2017 8th has 13 wins
2016 12 wins & a draw
2015 12 wins.

The losses to Penrith and Gold Coast recently will hurt, I still expect Manly to get there. Must be able to win the next couple against St George & Gold Coast and beat Parramatta both times, Warriors and Tigers to be in the hunt.

looking at that trend, every year it is going up, and at a greater rate each year.

Continuing the trend to 2019 we would be 3 wins greater than last year or 18 wins required.
