We have cap pressure .. because like every club we have 30 millenials all wanting to be paid what their mates say they are worth .. not what their talent says their worth.

If a numptey is on $150 and wants $200 .. letting him go is because of "cap" pressure .. whether we have the space or not ..

Yes agree with that but of course they are looking at the “ big 3” and saying “ if he’s worth 1.3 million I’m worth $850k”.

Guaca in my opinion is worth an upgrade , the others , yet to prove themselves.

You do understand that every club MUST spend 95% of it alloacated cap?

Every club constantly has salary cap pressure.

(some clubs spend 125% percent of theirs -but that is another story).

Exactly. What does Cap Pressure mean?

We offered over 300k for Foz for 2023.

Foz turns 33 then and DCE is older again. We want to have a Transition not need halves rebuild. Not bad dollars to play off the bench perhaps.

Does Cap pressure include funds set aside for a forward or a hooker?

Wouldn't get too concerned.

With Kapow, Walker & Foran going, we have to replace them to fulfil a top 30.

Tuilagi is coming & as others have said, it's likely Des is keeping some powder dry for when (hopefully) Manase is cleared.

That leaves one more spot to complete the 30 & will likely be a promotion from within (someone on a dev contract promoted to full pay probably).

I like how we believe the league media when it comes to stories about cap pressure
